Carry
Carry your Start board as shown in pic. 10. The "carry handle" behind the mast box is located in the center, and makes carrying easy and stable. |
Slide your mast base into the mast box, and turn it clockwise until securely fastened. (pic 11)
Attach the mast foot to the mast base and lock it. (pic 12) |

Launch your board by holding the boom front and lifting it in the rear upper foot strap, while you are sliding it on it's front rails. In stronger wind use the same technique, but enter the water with your back or side facing the wind direction. (pics 13 & 14)
Do always carry your rig with the mast facing the wind direction. |
| Start off from the beach by entering your board from the stern and to windward. Hold the boom with both hands, sheet in gradually to generate power, - and go. (pic's 15 & 16) |
